Music for All is pleased to welcome Gabriel Musella as coordinator of the Chamber Music National Festival.
After a successful teaching career that lasted for three decades, Gabe Musella serves as UIL Assistant Music Director in Austin, Texas.
“Chamber music performance allows our students a unique outlet for experiencing growth,” says Gabe. “They become more confident and expressive while being exposed to literature written by composers not often performed in larger ensemble settings. Reflecting on 35 years in music education, one of the most rewarding experiences for my students was participating in the Music for All National Chamber Festival in 2016. I highly encourage directors to take advantage of the opportunity to have their students interact with nationally recognized musicians and educators. Your students and your program will reap the benefits for several years!”
The Chamber Music National Festival is a non-competitive experience designed to offer educational growth and performance opportunities for individual students and scholastic music programs. It is part of the Music for All National Festival, presented by Yamaha, Friday, March 31-Sunday, April 2, 2023 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The final application/audition deadline for the 2023 Chamber Music National Festival is September 15, 2022.
